Team Skills
How It Works
Our Team Skills workshop collection is a practical, high-impact programme designed to strengthen the way your people work together.
Delivered as four interactive two-hour online workshops, or as two in-person days, it gives team members the mindset, communication skills and confidence they need to work well with others, navigate challenges and contribute to a genuinely high-performing team.
WHO IT’S FOR
This programme is designed to help people take responsibility for their own impact, build strong, trust-based relationships, and develop the emotional awareness that underpins great teamwork. You'll get the most from it if you're:
Part of a team and want to work better with the people around you, whatever your role or level
Working across different teams or functions and want those relationships to run more smoothly
Looking to build a culture of stronger communication and accountability within your organisation
Whatever the starting point, participants leave with tools they can put to use straight away, building trust, communicating proactively, managing themselves under pressure and handling conflict constructively.
THE DIFFERENCE IT MAKES
By the end of the programme, you'll notice a real shift in both individual performance and how your team works together, not just on the day, but week to week in your real-world environment.
As trust and accountability grow, you’ll see changes in the way people talk to each other. Instead of letting problems fester or escalate, you’ll start to notice them communicate openly and raise issues early, so the constant low-level friction that slows a team down will begin to disappear.
Once people stop working around each other and start working with each other, the team will become more effective, and because these habits are practised between sessions rather than taught and forgotten, the changes will hold.
"The Building Trust workshop led by Lara and Rita was a fantastic addition to our team away day. The session was engaging, thought-provoking and highly practical, helping us understand how trust is built through everyday behaviours, and what that looks like in our context.
We left with a shared language, a greater understanding of how we can each build our reputation internally and clear actions for each participant. The session has laid a strong foundation for working together as a team and building our reputation internally."
Lorna Elliott, Director of Finance Business Partnering (Operations) at King's College London
